This misconception has influenced the ideology that humans and Artificial Intelligence are competing, yet we don’t possess the same characteristics and abilities when making a decision.

Artificial Intelligence capabilities are technologically vast and generally revolve around the known unknown. AI utilises patterns from information to predict trends and outcomes, but is limited to interpreting & learning only available data.

in contrast, humans have the capacity to approach problems through a broader scope, applying emotion, ethical and moral judgment. This is required when subject to influence in external environments.

It is important to understand that human’s fall within the category of ‘Authentic Intelligence’.

The augmentation of our thought process through AI is expected to incite a higher level of accountability, and eliminate human bias in decision making.
